Katie & David at The Bluffs

Katie and David’s wedding flowers were meant to be a huge part of the day. The number one thing they wanted was a focal piece, and baby we gave it to them! We started with a ceiling installation, but when the room metrics just didn’t align, we pivoted only 6 weeks out and came up with what I think was an even better option. Take a look at their entire day, put together by an amazing team.

The bouquet was a perfect neutral and lush statement piece for a September wedding.

The whole design incorporated a large amount of the flower called Stock, because I knew that the smell it produces would create an amazing perfume everywhere she went. Even the event staff kept coming up to us during set up asking, “ what is that amazing smell!?”

The ceremony was held outside under a canopy of trees. The bride loved this part about the venue, feeling like a park. We kept the flowers as natural as possible, while still elevating the experience to the wedding level. There’s no better bloom, in my opinion, than a Pinnacle Hydrangea in September! So I was VERY excited when the couple exclaimed that they loved them. I built them a floral heavy ground installation that wrapped around them as they stood at the altar. Then, those flowers were moved inside…..

…to create an amazing stage front! These flower-flips are some of the best investments you can make in wedding flowers. Here is where the wow- factor came in! The band also had this backdrop, a 30 ft wide, 10 ft tall structure with chandeliers hanging in each opening as a backdrop for the band. The floral added to the top really finished out the design for the perfect statement piece to this wedding.

Every table looked amazing as the sunlight bathed the room at the perfect time for a golden-hour photo session. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and the whole vendor team really made this event spectacular.
