From the start of this wedding design, I was pulled to a complex color palette and a specific set of elements: floral Van Gogh paintings, Chinoiserie, and the time period encapsulated by the venue. I brought in specific vendors that could execute the look we were going for, and the artistry brought by our stationery and paper designers sealed the aesthetic! One of the things I loved the most about creating for this couple, was the seating chart. I took a Van Gogh printed wall paper, Cherry Blossoms, and asked for a laser-cut Escort Card in the shape of the flower on the branches. These flowers had each guest’s name on them, and they lifted open to reveal their table number. A 3-dimensional chart added such a fun action area for our guests. The whole day was a creative display of Ali’s amazing taste. All the way down to a custom embroidered ring bearer pillow, she had great eye and I am so honored to have partnered with her to bring it all to fruition.
